Poor customer service.
Their financing and warranty deals are pretty useful also, most items can get a no questions asked warranty for replacement of damaged or broken items.
I asked one employee if an item was in stock and the told me it wasn't without even checking. Asked another employee when inwas in line, who said the cashier would be able to tell me. When I got to the register the cashier said that they "didn't have the power" to check.
People were friendly and tried to help. Just also busy.
I’ve gone to this Best Buy for years and always have a good experience. They’re well-stocked in current tech / electronics, and the staff is consistently friendly and knowledgeable.
Overall I think it is hit or miss with Best Buy. Most times they mean well, but I am constantly finding pricing mistakes. (often in my favor) people are ready to help when you don't need them, and busy when you do. Sometimes they work with you to help you out and other times it is like they have an agenda. Some people know what they are talking about, and others try to bluff and bully to make you think they know what is what.
Lots of people trying to help is greatly appreciated! Prices are fair and good deals are easy to come across.
It's just Best buy. They get the job done here. I'm amazed at how much staff they have out on the floor. I guess it's the holiday season...
Best Buy has made some improvements in how they treat people over the last year. I use to avoid the place, now I'll go there in preference to other places occasionally. Just double check the pricing and don't be afraid to question them.
Good selection of Blu-Ray and lots of appliances as well.
They also price match online retailers, which is a huge plus, and keeps them competitive.
Highly recommended for any electronics needs!
