When I asked if they sell hubs, he said "why are you gonna buy?" I was shocked and said, " that's why I want to know if you sell them, and what types you sell, may I see them?" And to my surprise and dissatisfaction he answered, "they're in the back with Harvey and he's too busy just to show you"

Very quickly, they fixed the bicycle in 2 hours.

A little difficult to communicate, but the service was fast and the price is excellent. Very accessible staff and the shop is right on Aurora. Lots of experience for an easy fix! 100% recommend Harvy's!

The conversation quickly turned to a combative one and I was even at this place to consider buying my son and daughter new bikes, not to cause a fight.

I was casually mentioning that I thought the nuts were on the tire when I brought it in - more out of frustration that I couldn't find, not accusing anyone... The man made it very clear that these were hard to find and I asked him what would cause the tire axle to suddenly freeze because the tire had not been put to use..

Unfortunately, my experience here was pretty awful! A few weeks I brought the tire in to have them put in a new tube. When I got back to put the tire on his bike the nuts were missing....? I couldn't completely confirm that they were on the tire or not. I brought back the tire for my sons bike to replace the nuts and the minute I got in there I am told that the axle was frozen..in this direct/matter of fact way...

I promptly walked away. I was disappointed, angry, beyond dissatisfied and I do not recommend you waste your money, time or good mood on this sub-par bike shop. This is the quickest summary, and I only took the trouble to warn other consumers, the complete story is worse, but I'm not wasting my time with thinking about this shop anymore.

I can safely say this will be my last visit to Harvy's.

Always does a great job! I've taken several bikes here and never had a complaint. They have Everything packed in that little shop and none of the pretentious over priced attitude I've experienced at some of the places around Seattle.

The guy got pissed off said a few words and then handed me back the tire and told his person to stop looking for nuts....

Maybe this was a cultural difference in play, but this man was very direct and somewhat condescending.
