School pets like bunnies and other animals

Fantastic preschool. Chef prepared meals. Great teacher ratio. Awesome curriculum. Pets. Garden. Woods. Vast outdoor activity area. Bunnies. And to top it all, a highly detailed annual report on the kids development with documented evidence and the development assessment rating. Super impressed. Kid #2 is going here for sure.

Individualized Reggio-Emilia curriculum

This is a truly beautiful school. When we joined the school we were looking for a place for hour child to be loved and cared for, but also for us to become a part of a community. A Journey School is such a perfect match for both of our requests. It feels like being with family. We were greeted so warmly initially and then every day since. Several other parents are already friends and have begun to do things together outside of the school. The owner encourages parents to be involved in the school in many different ways that also let us feel like we are a part of building something really beautiful. We couldn't be happier. We are all blossoming there.

We had high expectations of this school. The facilities and food program are great, and many of the teachers are awesome. However, the management was not consistent and had a lot of knee-jerk reactions to situations which affected our child's well being. They were very inconsistent with what they promised versus what was delivered. They claim to be child-led in philosophy, but the decisions made didn't seem to have the children's best interest in mind, rather, what was best for the administration and school seemed to be prioritized. Additionally, they were terrible at dealing with issues that arose with parents. Myself and several other parents I knew at the school were consistently told "well, group care isn't for everyone" or "that's why some people decide to hire a nanny" EVERY SINGLE TIME there was an issue--big or small. This led to fearing we were being told to leave the school.

Organic and locally sourced foods almost 100% of the time

After leaving and seeing how other facilities operate and handle issues with parents, I am very glad we made the decision to leave.

Great school for early learners. Parent and family friendly.

Take-out meals prepared by the school chef- yes, CHEF!

Best early learning School that I've seen. A big beautiful outdoor area to learn and a great healthy diet for their little brains. Our son is so happy going to this school. Inspired by Reggio-Emilia philosophy.

A few other highlights:

The school is almost full after just two months in this new location. Don't wait. There is no better school in this area.

Parent's night out monthly

Beautiful facilities on a huge wooded campus. The kids play outside playing most of the day

Professional teachers with college degrees, loads of experience, and obvious love for the children they teach
