They are just a horrible police department they killed my good friend , they denied him medical attention when in their custody resulting in his death , so this is just rediculas for a police department to be like that.
I recently lost my wallet in the Kenmore area, and some kind person (thank you!) turned it in to the Lynnwood Police Department. Both officers I came into contact with to recover it, Sergeant Segan and Officer McBride at the evidence storage, were very professional and very nice, and both made multiple attempts to try to contact me and get my missing property back to me. I couldn't have asked for better service.
The worst police department in the State of Washington. No actual decision making goes into their traffic ticketing process. They pull people over and ticket them regardless of circumstances. The jobs of all traffic cops in this department could be completed by a single trained monkey with a radar gun. My driving style hasn't changed, but fortunately my recently purchased radar detector has kept this poor excuse of a police department from stealing any more money out of my pocket.
And if you don't like getting tickets, try obeying the traffic laws for a change. They're there for a reason. I do, and I've only had one traffic ticket in the last 25 years.
I realize that some people have issues with the police. To them I can only say that the police are human, and they make mistakes just like the rest of us. Personally, I always treat them as I would like to be treated myself, and I've never had the slightest problem. Most people can't even imagine the kind of things that your typical police officer sees and experiences in the course of his career. Maybe you could bear that in mind the next time you have a contact?
Unfortantly Lynnwood has and has had a terrible police force! They are rude, don't know what their doing and waste their time and our (the tax payers) money! Today one of lynnwoods finest almost directed me into oncoming traffic then acted like i was at fault because him waving me forward was supposed to mean stop?!
At the end of the day, these guys are ready and willing to lay down their lives for us, complete strangers. I'm just glad they're out there to protect us.
I was in a car crash early in the month of October, the police were very helpful, one even stayed with me until my aunt pick me up.
