We loved the park except that you must be warned: the fence has openings that allow small (20 lb in our case) dogs to escape, if they are in the mood!! We had quite the enjoyable walk thru the verdant park, calling our dog's name. The 4 way stop in front of the park was helpful in capturing our errant, spunky terrier. We were relived to retrieve her in the middle of the intersection, after quite the naughty romp on her part. Now we leash her in the park. Off leash is not a good option here due to the vegetation masking the fence openings. Sneaky escape artists will find them!!
This place is fabulous! I was in the area from out of town and needed a place to let my dogs be dogs for a bit. It's nicely wooded and fenced; not too busy; and enough room to move away from any potentially difficult dog situations. My girls liked it so much we went back all three days.
I love this dog park. The trails are well maintained.
Fairly well kept compared to most dog parks. Lots of shade under the trees and the trees double as umbrellas keeping most of the rain off you and the pups. One small mud area at the lower end of the park when it's wet out but lots of room to go around if the dogs will cooperate. Usually friendly people there. Early morning you might have the park to yourself.
Very nice people, easy to find! It's a nice wooded fenced in area for the dogs to play!
